Our stay was plagued with issues. The first room had shades that didn't work, and when I complained, the front desk staff was surprisingly hostile, threatening to cancel my reservation. We moved to a second room that had a refrigerator not cooling at all, and despite my complaints about the pool being closed, I received no response. It was disappointing to find dirty floors in the breakfast area that went uncleaned throughout our entire stay.

The check-in process was quick, but the

room cleanliness left much to be desired. While the bed was quite comfortable and the AC worked well, I found several questionable spots in the bathroom, which was disappointing during my stay.

The Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Waco South offered us a very clean and safe atmosphere, which was just what my family needed. The kids loved the indoor pool, and the staff member managing breakfast was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making our dining experience enjoyable.

The room was spacious and tidy, perfect for our family. The beds were super comfy, and we had everything we needed. The decor was minimal but nice. It was also very clean, which I appreciated a lot. The only downside was that the walls felt a bit thin because we could hear conversations in the hallway.
